Our amazing research assistant Faris (Farishteh Khan), won the University of Toronto Excellence Award for Natural Sciences and Engineering (UEA-NSE). This award is granted to undergraduate students for work completed on research projects under the supervision of faculty members who hold an active NSERC grant. This award enables opportunities for further research experience to help students learn and apply various research methodologies, and to encourage budding researchers to pursue such careers in the future as well.
