Today we began piloting for our new study! This study is conducted over zoom. With the ongoing pandemic as well as all the talk about COVID-19, viruses, and vaccines, this study was designed in collaboration with Boston University to learn more about children’s understanding of these topics. We ask children questions to better understand what they know about COVID-19 and other viruses, as well as potential treatments. Eventually, we plan on using this information to develop ways to increase children’s understanding and clear common misconceptions about these topics, especially in light of the children's COVID-19 vaccine that is currently being developed.
