One of our valuable research assistants, Erum Syed, won the UTM Undergraduate Research Grant for her Biology Thesis Project. Her study investigates the effects of embryonic ethanol exposure on social behaviour in zebrafish.
Erum is also currently doing an Independent Research Project in our lab, which looks at whether children show a confirmation bias and whether this tendency changes with age.
