Dr. Ronfard was interviewed for a UTM news article about holiday mythology. As a researcher who studies how children reason about invisible entities, it's interesting to hear his thoughts on Santa.
"Believing in the elusive elf is not so different than believing that atoms or black holes exist, at least from a cognitive perspective. We can’t see them, but there’s evidence they are there."
