COVID-19 Protocol

The research site is located at the University of Toronto Mississauga under the jurisdiction of Peel Region public health. We are taking all safety precautions to reduce the risk of spread of COVID-19 and expect you to follow public health directives as well.

If you feel that you are from a vulnerable group with respect to COVID-19 effects (e.g., young child, immuno-compromised), please discuss your participation with the research team before consenting. You are under no obligation to participate and nothing bad will happen if you change your mind about participating in the research.
 

The following safety protocols must be followed by visitors to the lab, as per Occupational Health and Safety: 

• Wash/sanitize your hands when entering and leaving the lab. 

• You and your child may wear a mask, but are not required to wear one. Our team is required to wear a mask, unless you request that we do not. This guidance may change based on University and Public Health guidelines. 

• If you or your child have recently been in contact with someone who has tested positive for COVID-19, or if you are experiencing any symptoms of COVID-19, we ask that you please cancel/reschedule your appointment and do not come in.
